What' s the date? REALLY?

I mean wasn't it enough to have early bird sales actually on Thursday, Thanksgiving, as if Black Friday isn't enough? But hey, gang, enjoy your feast, I'm outta here to go shopping......

NOW, enjoy your presents, there under the tree, see ya later, I'm outta here to go to the movie.........

I know, I know, family tradition of going to the movies for Christmas, or go another day ,but hey, what a bout the people working at the theater and their family traditions, sorry, can't come for the gathering or go to the mission to serve meals, or church special service, or, or .......or I gotta Work. Is work an excuse?
The fact is, that there are so many family scatterings and, well, some holiday themes traditionally are spend time with the ones you love.........., new traditions.......I may be really content to sit in the the back row with all the other loners being checked on by the security guard who would rather work than be at the "party".......... sorry, can't come for the gathering or go to the mission to serve meals, or church special service, or, or .......I think you know what I mean------

Now, not to sound negative nancy and to each his own but where is our priorities for, oh never mind........

I asked my son's if they would like to go see Into the Woods on Christmas Day.......and got a resounding Really? and a nervous, I'm going.....I'm going......I'm at Dad's..........
