Communications Connect When Ready

I was enjoying devouring a delicious book full of taste y quotes when I noticed a few tears formed and dropped on my face. MMM back up and re-read the quote a few more times. More tears.........Then, a memory is tickled and the vision unfolds of an experience I had when a small girl. A neighborhood mom had made me a beautiful handsewn  Martha Washington costume for Halloween . I didn't ask her she just surprised me with it saying that she knew it would be perfect for me. I was touched and excited to receive such a thoughtful and time-consuming gift. I could hardly wait for trick or treat. Proudly I put it on and it was beautiful! Well, that was until the other kids saw it and laughed and made comments like what are you supposed to be, where did you get that crazy thing and the like........I was crushed in more ways than one. See, I had felt so grateful for a precious gift and loved and seen and within in an instant that high was squashed. Wrapped up neatly in my box of Love Hurts collection. My heart started aching and my eyes let go more hot tears and I re-read the quote trying to make the connection of such an emotional reaction.

I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispostions, and not upon our circumstances. Martha Washington


Well, truly a beautiful quote, appropriate to my entire life, and yep, Martha Washington. It all clicked in and my heart had an opening and tears washing release and a profound undescribe able shift occurred. Like a dear friend used to laugh with me and say "that would be a big CHA CHING!"

It can be so beautiful to connect the weavings in our hearts through our life and events and meaningful communications , All messages will be expressed in their own time, and and I think you know what I mean..........
