In HONOR and gratitude for the blessings you forever
bestow in our lives
no matter the struggles and strife
never asking for acknowledgement and fame

You empower us with your unconditional love
You empathize our sufferings and growing pains

You cry for our struggles and aches
You bandaide our every scrape

You wipe our noses
and plant our roses

You endlessly cook and clean
and creatively utilize resources no matter how lean

You hold a firm hand
when necessary to take a stand

You guide and encourage walking the plan

I bow to you in Honor and Grace
for all the magic you sprinkle over every space
and tenderly kiss each face
through all conditions and generations past
the deep love that lasts
