I hear the pitterpat of my barefeet on the cold tiles as I walk into the billowy room, wafting the smell of death. I slowly glance around,drawn to the demise; It Can Not Hide.
Over the fireplace, I recognize the eyes in the reflection of my face in the mirror. No More Lies, I can no longer deny the empty terror. The vital spark is gone, I understand in death, everything is wrong, Yet, so right. Calmly I breathe, gently and light;I say good night, for the last time. A smile forms on my cracked lips as the final air releases me, safely, home, enveloped Divine. Bright White fades to Shade. Illuminated words flip across the black blank page,in my mind. Game Played; Final Call on the Stage. SILENCE. I feel the rippling wave, as the indigo velvet curtain dances, falls lifeless, and hangs still. |
